Thinking eBay?

Recently, we have had many frantic brides call us because they have been burned by buying wedding dresses from designer magazine pictures on eBay (SOMETIMES THEY DON'T EVEN GET THEIR DRESS!). This prompted us to purchase 3 gowns from beautiful designer pictures listed on eBay.

• We bought 3 gowns from a seller based out of China.

• All were listed with bridal magazine pictures only.

• We ordered all 3 in UK size 12.

• Dresses came to us and look NOTHING like what was pictured on the listing.

• The quality of the gowns is very bad – very cheaply made.

• We tried to contact the seller for refund, and they keep giving us the runaround.

• After winning the auctions on these gowns we were charged $220.21 USD after the conversion from British Pounds (£111.99 GBP including shipping) for one of the dresses.

• After asking for a refund on these gowns, all we were given was negative feedback on eBay.

• Item description is something similar to “New Wedding Dress Bridal Gowns Prom Gowns all sizes” – does not use designer/label name.

• The prices are listed in GBP, but seller is located in a different country.

• The price on the listing is extremely low.
  - if you are looking for wedding dresses and you know how expensive they can run, beware when the listing is only asking $100-$200 for a $1500 retail gown.

• No particular size or color is listed.

• The auction/listing asks for size and color desired once you win.

• No Ready-Made dresses – Custom Orders ONLY.

• Many times the seller is located in China, but this can happen from any country.

Shocking Letters From Our Customers!

Dear Jill,

     Thank you so very much for being our "guardian angel" and pulling our wedding out of the brink of disaster by providing me with such an absolutely gorgeous dress at such an affordable price. This dress is more beautiful than anything I could have possibly imagined.

     I am a school teacher and athletic coach and my fiancé is a firefighter, as you can imagine we have a limited income and we are paying for all of the expenses associated with our wedding ourselves. Therefore we are trying to put together an elegant wedding on a very tight budget.

     With that being said after shopping at a few local bridal salons and seeing their prices I began to search for a gown on eBay and found what I thought was the perfect gown, made by a company operating out of China. I went through the normal eBay process, bid on the gown, won the bid, paid for it through my Pay pal account which reverted back to my Visa card, and my final step was to provide my sizes and wait a month for my gown. This was in January and four months later I still do not have my gown. I attempted to reach the company in China and they are no where to be found and are no longer on eBay, I contacted eBay who was of no help because of the time lapse, nor was Pay pal, so I initiated a complaint through my credit car company which will take months to resolve.

     I guess you could say I was pound wise and penny foolish, my need to save money has ended up costing me a lot more in the long run. Purchasing a beautiful wedding gown well below the prices in America seemed too good to be true and it actually was, until I found your company Jill.

     What started out as a horrible situation, ended with a dress that is more than I could have ever possibly dreamed of and it was a prices that not even the companies in China could compete with. My bridal gown is top quality and defines elegance and the staff at "bridal online store" treated me with such kindness and professionalism. I would strongly encourage any "bride to be" to shop "American" and call the professional staff at the bridal online store. Jill, again thank you for all that you have done to help me, you truly rescued me out of a terrible situation. By the way the flower girl dress is adorable and complements my gown perfectly.
